A Call to Lead
A Call to Lead is an exciting new initiative developed by the Diocese of Salford and the Young Christian Workers Movement to put the future of our faith into the hands of our young people.
Over the past two years, in this Diocese, people have been invited to come together to share their thoughts about the Church and the life of their parishes, in the context of a changing world. In every case one of the main concerns has been the absence of young people.
This ambitious new project has been created in response to that concern and aims to encourage and enable young people to become inspiring leaders of their parish communities.

A Call to lead is for all young people in schools and parishes across the diocese who would like to deepen their faith post confirmation.
The aim is to help people continue their faith journey after confirmation by further exploring our Catholic faith.
The programme aims to give young people the confidence to become more self-aware in their faith, more confident and active members of our parish communities, and more understanding of the unique mission God has in mind for them.
