Blessed in Belief: Reflection on Wedding at Cana
Sunday 19th January 2025Our Gospel this Sunday presents to us the story of the Wedding at Cana and the third powerful revelation of Jesus as the Son of God.
Today’s Gospel is the third of three Gospel readings the invite us to reflect on the mystery of the Word Incarnate proclaimed to the world.
This January, we seek to share in that same spirit of revelation by considering these scripture passages through the lens and mission of evangelisation, as part of our celebration of the Jubilee for Communications – part of our Jubilee of Jubilees series.
Today, we speak to Fr Frankie Mulgrew, Salford Cathedral’s Precentor, to further explore the story of the Wedding at Cana, and how the role of Mary – our Mother – teaches us to profess our faith in our world today.
