Stonyhurst College: Holy Week Retreat

We would like to inform you that Stonyhurst College are hosting a Holy Week retreat focusing on the true meaning of Easter, celebrate the resurrection of faith, and foster a sense of community and spiritual renewal.

The retreat will run from Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday. (3pm, Thursday 17th April – 11am Sunday 20th April 2025.).

For Good Friday there will be Guest speaker Sr Gemma Simmonds CJ – She is a senior research fellow at the Margaret Beaufort Institute of Theology in Cambridge, where she is director of the Religious Life Institute, teaching Christian spirituality and pastoral theology.

Stonyhurst are also having a Children and Young peoples programme during the Holy week retreat – both Primary and Secondary school-age run programmes provided by Mark 10 Mission and NET Scotland.
