A prayerful retreat focusing on the true meaning of Easter is taking place at Stonyhurst this Holy Week.

The retreat will run from Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday and provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the resurrection of faith and foster a sense of community and spiritual renewal.

This three-day retreat will welcome guest speakers Dr Sr Gemma Simmonds CJ and Fr Nick King SJ, and include a varied programme of engaging sessions, reflective workshops, and community gatherings to help participants grow in faith together this Holy Week.

Following on from last year’s success, a special Children and Young People’s programme will also be taking place during the Holy Week retreat. This year’s retreat welcomes NET Ministries Scotland to run a programme for young people aged 11-18, whilst Mark 10 Mission joins to deliver an engaging programme for primary school-aged children.
