Pope turns to Our Lady Queen of Peace on Solemnity of the Annunciation

As we celebrate the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, Pope Francis invites us to turn to Our Lady, Queen of Peace, in a special way.

Last year, bishops right across the world joined together in prayer to consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

This year, the Holy Father Pope Francis invites each of us to renew this act of consecration to Our Lady on every 25th March, so that she – our mother – may keep us all in unity and peace.

As we mark today’s Solemnity, we invite you to keep the people of Ukraine in your prayers as we ask Our Blessed Mother to intercede for peace in our world.
