Salford Cathedral Choir CD Launch

Join us for this one-hour concert launch of our new album of unaccompanied sacred music by women composers performed by Salford Cathedral Choir, directed by Alex Patterson.
The evening will also mark the launch of the Salford Cathedral Music Foundation which exists to provide opportunities to develop the potential of the children, young people, and adults of Salford, from all backgrounds, through our choral ensembles – from our Children’s Choir, Cambiata Boys’ Choir, Girls’ Choir, and the adult Cathedral Choir.
Due to the closure of the Cathedral Church as a result of the current extensive restoration work, the event will take place in the stunning acoustic of The Holy Name RC Church, Oxford Road, Manchester.

Free admission – retiring collection. All welcome.
The CD is now available from the Cathedral Piety Stall after Sunday 9.15am and 11am Masses, as well as from the Cathedral Centre Bookshop. It will be released digitally later this year.
