Our Laudato Si’ Centre is delighted to announce a Jubilee pilgrimage opportunity in conjunction with the Columban Missionaries in Britain.
This September, we are joining forces with the Columban Missionaries in Britain to embark on a walking pilgrimage from our Laudato Si’ Centre in Worsley to Salford Cathedral’s temporary church in celebration of the Season of Creation in this Jubilee Year.
The pilgrimage will begin with a short prayer service at the Laudato Si’ Centre before pilgrims begin the nine-mile walk to the temporary church, with plenty of stops at parishes en route for opportunities for prayer and reflection, as well as much-needed comfort breaks.
Our pilgrimage will come to a close with the newly-approved Mass for the Care of Creation at Salford Cathedral’s Temporary Church at 6pm, which is open to all.
