A Day of Reflection on the role of Sacred Music in the Liturgy

Two Manchester churches are delighted to host a practical day course on understanding the Liturgy and use of Sacred Music within the Mass, with a special emphasis on Gregorian Chant.

Led by Fr Guy Nicholls, Director of the St John Henry Newman Institute of Liturgical Music, the course will take place on Saturday 29th November, starting at 11am and finishing with sung Mass at 5.15pm.

All are welcome (no previous experience necessary). The morning session will take place at St. Augustine’s, Grosvenor Square and the afternoon session and Mass will take place at St. Mary’s (The Hidden Gem), Mulberry Street.

A buffet lunch will be provided at the Ape and Apple, John Dalton Street. Tea/coffee and biscuits provided. Cost £20 per person.
