Reflecting on Dilexi te: Advent Talks

Our Lady and Lancashire Martyrs Church Hall, Hallstead Ave, Little Hulton M38 0DL
Tuesday 25th November 2025
10:30 - 12:30

A fascinating series of talks is set to begin this Advent, with discussions based on Pope Leo XIV’s Apostolic Exhortation, Dilexi te, and our Sunday Advent readings.

We are excited to be joined once again by presenters Sister Joan Kerley and Maria Kidd, as we reflect on how we welcome the birth of the Messiah into a world of multifaceted poverty.

The talks will take place between 10:30am – 12:30pm on the following dates:

25 November: Assessing today’s reality in the light of the poor

2 December: Hearing the Cry of the Poor

9 December: Responding to the Needs of the Poor

16 December: Becoming Poor: Jesus, Emmanuel: God With Us

Refreshments of coffee, tea and biscuits will be provided.

To reserve your place or for more information, please contact Sister Joan Kerley, FMSJ via email at joankfmsj@gmail.com or call 07934 816796.
