Pilgrims of Hope: Lenten Talks

A series of talks is coming to Wardley Hall this Lent to accompany us on our journey towards Easter.

Mgr Paul Smith, Sr Joan Kerley, and Maria Kidd will be delivering a series of weekly talks that explore the concept of pilgrimage and journeying through the lens of the Jubilee.

Each week, the talks will focus on a different person from the Bible to help us better understand how the journey we are called to make this Holy Week year is rooted in scripture.

Talks will be taking place between 11am until 1pm Wardley Hall on the following dates:

Tuesday 4th March 2025 : Pilgrims of Hope, Pope Francis invitation to us as he inaugurates the Holy Year.

Tuesday 11th March 2025 : Abraham, Pilgrim of Hope and his journey to new country.

Tuesday 18th March 2025 : Moses, Pilgrim of Hope on his journey to freedom.

Tuesday 25th March 2025 : Mary, Pilgrim of Hope with Gods people.

Tuesday 1st April 2025 : Paul, Pilgrim and Preacher of Hope.

Tuesday 8th April 2025 : Jesus – Pilgrim to Jerusalem and his Destiny.
