Genesis Mission Introduction Session
Cathedral Centre, 3 Ford Street, M3 6DPSaturday 27th November 2021
10:00am-1:00pm
As part of Stage 4 of Hope in the Future, it is our intention to focus explicitly on missionary discipleship. By this we mean an integration of a newly formed or deepened missionary attitude, with practical tools and ways to share the Gospel sensitively and appropriately in everyday life.
Fr Jon and Michele will give an introduction to Genesis Mission and share how you can get involved.
After a successful pilot in the Diocese of Salford, we have trained local leaders to deliver the sessions. Come along to find out more and how you can get involved. If you do wish to take part, you can sign up after the session.
Following this:
– There will be an opportunity to take part in the 7-week formation and training sessions in parish clusters/deaneries on Zoom.
– Participants have a go at the Genesis Mission in their locality.
– Teams meet once a month for prayer, feedback on how the conversations went, for spiritual reflection and planning.
