Administrator for Professional Development and Formation Programmes

Appointment Type: Full-time, permanent
Working hours: 35 hours per week: 8.30am-4.15pm. Flexible working may be required occasionally
Location: Cathedral Centre, 3 Ford Street, Salford, M3 6DP
Salary: £18,450 per annum

About:

The Diocese is looking for an Administrator to work as part of the Education department to support the ongoing professional development and formation of support staff, teachers, senior school leaders and governors.

What we’re looking for:

The Administrator will play an important role in the administrative and support functions of the Education department, responsible for coordinating training courses, briefings and conferences delivered by the department, including drafting course materials, booklets, posters, newsletters and similar documentation. They will deal with telephone and electronic enquiries and maintain accurate records.

What you’ll need:

The Administrator will be a strong communicator, possessing excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with people at all levels. They will be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Excellent organisational skills are essential for this role, as it requires effective prioritisation, working on multiple projects simultaneously and record-keeping.

The successful candidate will have sound literacy and numeracy skills and be experienced in using IT applications; particularly MS Word and Publisher.
