87th Salford Lourdes pilgrimage begins
Thursday 25th July 2019Today, volunteers and pilgrims from the Salford Lourdes trip have embarked on the Diocese’s 87th pilgrimage.
While in Lourdes, the group will complete a walking tour of Lourdes, enjoy social time together and experience Mass in the Grotto which you are able to watch live on the Lourdes live stream at 07:30 (GMT) on Sunday 28 July.
Bishop John will be celebrating the Mass, in which the Salford Lourdes team will be joined by pilgrims from the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle.

Bishop John said: “I would like to offer my thanks to all the organisers and volunteers who, year on year, help to make the Lourdes pilgrimage a prayerful experience that gives priority to the sick pilgrims in all that we do.”
