Week of Prayer for Christian Unity Service

People across our diocese are invited to join Christians across Britain and Ireland for a special service for Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity runs from 18 – 25 January and our focus this year comes from the Prophet Isaiah and his call to “Do good; seek justice” (Isaiah 1:17).

This year is also the 30th anniversary of the murder of Stephen Lawrence, so this year’s campaign invites us enter into this week with a special focus on racial injustice and the divisions that impact unity in our society, and to pray together for the unity for which Christ prayed.

The service will be streamed via Zoom at 7.30pm on Tuesday 24 January.
