A parish community is marking 100 years of faith with a celebratory Mass and exhibition.
Our Lady of Hope Parish in Salford is inviting people across the diocese to join them in celebrating their centenary with a special Mass on Saturday 17th December.
The Mass will take place at 2pm at St Luke’s Church, Swinton Park Road, Irlams o’ th’ Height , and will be followed by a reception and opportunity to view the exhibition.
The exhibition will cover the history of the parish from its beginning in a house on Moorfield Road, Salford in December 1922, through the building of St. Luke’s, the establishment of SS. Peter & Paul’s, to the present day.
