Cathedral Centre Books and Cafe Announcement
Friday 10th November 2023We are deeply saddened to announce the decision to close Cathedral Centre Books and the Cathedral Centre Cafe.
It is a decision that that has been taken by the Trustees after a great deal of thought and reflection, especially given the longevity of the Bookshop and the clear missional role it has played.
Unfortunately, the bookshop and café are losing money and have been for a number of years, this is despite recent changes to staffing structures. The Diocese can no longer sustain the losses.
The bookshop will close by the end of February 2024.
It is expected that the café will also permanently close in early 2024.
