The National Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima

We are delighted to announce that The National Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima, along with Relics of Saints Jacinta and Francisco will visit the Cathedral on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th February.
A whole series of events and services are planned across the two days. Devotions are encouraged across the two days between services and all are welcome to celebrate this once in a lifetime visitation.
10.20am: Procession, Enthronement and Crowning of the National Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima by Rt. Rev John Arnold, Bishop of Salford
10.30am: Holy Mass celebrated by Rt. Rev John Arnold, Bishop of Salford
11.30 – 12.00: Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

13.00: Recitation and Meditation of the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary
13.30: Talk on the Message of Fatima in the Cathedral House Assembly Room.
13.45: Fatima Film (The Little Shepherds) in the Cathedral House Assembly Room. Talk on the importance of enrolment and wearing of the Brown Scapular
15.00: Mass for the Portuguese speaking Catholic Community Celebrated by Fr. Carlos Gabriel, Chaplain to the Catholic Portuguese speaking community in the UK.
16.00: Recitation and meditation of the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary and opportunity to venerate the Relics of Saints Jacinta and Francisco.
17.30: Cathedral Vigil Mass for Sunday
19.00 – 20.30 Evening Vigil of Prayer
