Retreat Programme: The Water into Wine

Our formation department is delighted to announce a new programme of regular retreats to help nurture our spiritual lives.

The retreat on Tuesday 4th October 2022 is entitled “The Water into Wine”.

This fascinating session will take a deeper look at John 2:1-11 and the story of the Wedding at Cana, where Jesus turned water into wine. By meditating on this Gospel, we contemplate the symbolism of empty water jars and new wine: emptying ourselves to offer a space for life lived in all its fullness.

The retreat will once again be led by Donna Worthington and will be hosted at the new centre at Our Lady of Lourdes and St Gerard Majella, Brownedge Road, Lostock Hall.

It will run from 11.30am to 3pm, including a 30-minute lunch, and will cost £20.

Please note – a minimum of 15 people are required for a retreat to be offered.
