Pilgrimages for 2025 Jubilee

We are delighted to announce a number of pilgrimage opportunities in celebration of the 2025 Pilgrims of Hope Jubilee.

Pope Francis has designated 2025 as a Year of Jubilee, inviting people across the whole Church to celebrate at a local level, as well as coming together as one universal family.

At the heart of this uplifting celebration is the theme of pilgrimage – a quest to discover and leave behind all that separates us from God in the hope of finding renewed fulfilment, peace, and joy.

As such, our Pilgrims of Hope Jubilee Coordination Team are delighted to offer a range of pilgrimages at home and overseas.

Stay with us, Lord, on our journey!

We are delighted to be returning to the beautiful shrine of Our Lady in Walsingham next May.

This annual pilgrimage is a real highlight in our diocesan calendar, welcoming hundreds of pilgrims from across the diocese to join in this prayerful experience.

Walk along the Holy Mile with your fellow pilgrims as we pray the Rosary and sing hymns to Our Lady before having the chance to explore the peaceful grounds of the Catholic shrine, visit the famous Slipper Chapel, and take part in a Service of Reconciliation and Mass at the basilica.

Next year’s pilgrimage will take place on Saturday 3rd May, with the option to extend your visit by stating overnight on Friday 2nd May.

A dedicated Youth Pilgrimage will once again take place from Friday 2nd to Saturday 3rd May for young pilgrims in years 7, 8, and 9.
