Jubilee for Grandparents and Older People
Tuesday 1st July 2025This month, our Jubilee of Jubilee series continues as we celebrate the Jubilee for Grandparents and the Elderly.
The Jubilee coincides with the fifth World Day of Grandparents and the Elderly, taking place on Sunday 27 July, with the theme of “Blessed are those who have not lost hope”.
This is an opportunity to reflect on how the presence of grandparents and older people are a sign of hope in our lives.
To help us reflect on and celebrate this theme, our diocesan charity Caritas Diocese of Salford has created a guide to explore more about how we can develop relationships with older family members and older people within our parish and wider community.
