Celebration of the Immaculate Conception with Lourdes Volunteers

On Friday 8th December there will be the celebration of Mass in the Cathedral for the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. Mass will be at 7.30pm and the principle celebrant will be Canon Cooke VG. The wonderful pilgrimage choir will be providing music.
Following Mass there will be refreshments in the Cathedral Cloisters with the release of volunteer application forms for the 86th Salford Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes.
2018 marks the 160th Anniversary of the Apparitions of Our Lady to Bernadette in the Grotto at Lourdes. To mark this special occasion we would like to make our pilgrimage family the largest it’s ever been and so invite all from across the diocese to consider joining us on pilgrimage to Lourdes next Summer.
