Bishop John in the grounds of Wardley Hall

Care for Creation: Commitments, Actions, and Participation

St Patrick's Catholic Primary School, Wigan
Saturday 9th March 2024
10am

Bishop John has been invited to speak at an environment conference hosted by the Archdiocese of Liverpool and the Justice and Peace Commission this spring.

The event aims to bring together people from across the Archdiocese and neighbouring dioceses to reflect on some of the biggest climate challenges our planet is facing and how our Catholic faith calls us to action.

Bishop John, who is Environmental Lead for the Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales, will be joined by Sr Margaret Atkins (a member of the Community of Augustinian Sisters at Boarbank Hall in Cumbria and a visiting Research Fellow of Blackfriars, Oxford) and John-Paul De Quay from the Ecological Conversion Group.

The event runs between 10am and 3.30pm on Saturday 9th March at St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School, Wigan.
