All the info for this years Lourdes Pilgrimage is now online.
This is the 87th Salford Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes and takes place during the 175th anniversary of the birth of Saint Bernadette. The dates for this year are Thursday 25th July to Wednesday 31st July 2019. All the details on pricing, hotels and booking forms can be found on the Lourdes website.
If you are a doctor, registered nurse or healthcare assistant and are interested in the possibility of volunteering your skills to help support those sick and disabled pilgrims who need particular care during the pilgrimage, we are eager to hear from you. Financial assistance may be available to those involved in healthcare.

In his message for the 27th World Day of the Sick, which is celebrated today, Pope Francis reminds us all of the importance of volunteers and the “culture of generosity” in caring for the sick. Our diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes is evidence of that generosity throughout the diocese. We give thanks to those who give so much of their time each year to ensure that the pilgrimage is a success.
